A bucket elevator is a mechanical conventional conveying solution to lift material up to a certain elevation. We provide a wide range of bucket elevators for granular and powder applications.
A vertical elevator depends entirely on centrifugal force to get material to the discharge chute. These continuous conveyors are used in conveying of all kind of bulk materials. The bucket elevator has a drive shaft and a drive motor at the top. These buckets are continuously filled with material by means of hoppers or chutes. The material is then conveyed upward and tipped into the discharge chute. For dust proof application, we offer bucket elevators along with the suitable dust extraction system.
Discharge side has a Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and other specialized lining (like Hardox lining) for abrasive materials. Bucket elevator are equipped with Zero Speed Switch & pawl and ratchet type back stop arrangement for safety of equipment and the operator.

A screw conveyor or auger conveyor is a mechanism that uses a rotating helical screw blade, called a “flight”, within a tube/pipe or U-trough to move powders and granular materials. Screw conveyors and auger feeder are used in many bulk handling industries; in modern industry, it is often used horizontally or at a slight incline as an efficient way to move various materials.
They usually consist of a U-trough or pipe containing a spiral blade coiled around a shaft, driven at one end and held at the other. The rate of volume transfer is proportional to the rotation rate of the shaft. In industrial control applications, the device is often used as a variable rate feeder by varying the rotation rate of the shaft to deliver a measured rate or precise quantity of material into a process. Hence, screw feeders are exclusively used for both the material dosing applications wise loss-in weight dosing and gain-in weight dosing.
Horizontal screw conveyor: Horizontal screw conveyors, the most widely used is used to convey bulk materials from one part of a process to another in horizontal direction. Horizontal screw conveyors are available in a wide range of sizes, lengths, configurations and materials of construction.
Inclined screw conveyor: Inclined screw conveyors typically operate from slightly above the horizontal position to 45 0 from the horizontal position. As the degree of incline increases, conveying efficiency is reduced and horsepower requirements increase due to the effects of gravity and bulk materials may fall back. We have gained the expertise in designing inclined screw conveyors with increased efficiencies.
Vertical screw conveyor: TVertical screw conveyors are a very efficient method for elevating a variety of bulk materials at very steep inclines or completely vertical. We consider any screw conveyor located on an incline over 45 0 to be a vertical screw conveyor. The compact design allows for the vertical screw conveyor to fit into almost any plant layout.
Reversible screw conveyor:In complex industrial processes a solution for effectively and efficiently metering dry bulk solids from a silo/hopper into one of two locations is required. It requires two delivery points to be served. It is a good practice to use a common extractor, rather than providing two outlets in the storage container, as separate outlets give rise to unsatisfactory features of dead storage regions and eccentric flow stresses. We provide a reversible screw feeder with a central inlet, which proves to be the ideal solution.

Silos are typically used for storing bulk powders in food, plastics, paint, cement, steel, and pharma industries. This storage is extensively used where the requirement is of nonstop production during supply chain disruptions. This bulk storage also ensures high quantity of powders handled in production line, as manual handling does not suffice to huge production requirements. It is also a clean and dust free operation ensuring zero human contact with the product.
This silo is normally filled with tankers or through pneumatic conveying depending upon the raw material availability.
To ensure good discharge, each silo is normally equipped with live bottom arrangements like bin activators, fluidising cones, unloading valves etc. This units ensure consistent and controlled discharge of various materials thus ensuring efficient inventory management and control, benefitting the plant operation and its flexibility, as well as the material supply chain management.
Typically, Material of Construction (MOC) of Silo are Stainless Steel grade 304/316, Carbon steel, and Aluminium.

Silo Discharges arrangements:
Homogeniser:
This is typically a live bottom technique, used in big silos where the material bulk densities vary. The material is abrasive and heavy load on the discharge hopper tends to create problem of high flow, non-homogenised flow, and stagnation. This silo bottom is divided into 8 sectors of which only 2 opposite are aerated at the same time i.e approx. one quarter of the total silo is in aerated condition. The sectors are divided into separate segments and where different air mass flow can be introduced. The aeration time depends upon the site and material used and typically is 10-15 minutes for a segment. The whole homogenising time is 45-60 minutes approximately.
Fluidizing arrangement:
Fluidization can be a highly effective method for handling a fine bulk material in an aerated like condition. Air or another gas can be used for powder fluidization in a fully fluidized state. In fluidization, the gas, flowing through a particle bed, just keeps the particles lifted vertically whereby the particles do not touch each other anymore. That is the reason for fluidized behaviour with almost no internal friction and hence there is easy and complete discharge of material with retention. Fluidisation prevents rat-holing, bridging, segregation or material residues at the bottom of the silo/Hopper cone. Various materials exhibit perfect mass flow the moment a certain amount of air is added at regular intervals during bin or silo discharge. The air enriched material gains desired flowability.

Dense Phase Pneumatic Conveying System is essentially a conveying process that transfers the material with high pressure at low velocity and high product-air ratio. It is suitable for conveying of materials that are friable, fragile, abrasive, or agglomerated in nature.
Dense Phase Pneumatic Conveying System conveys bulk solids at long distances from single/multiple locations to single /multiple points preventing low material degradation.
